Not your normal website

A couple of years ago, while looking online for stuff to do for my kids, I noticed there really wasn't a site that could tell me about local events, activities, and businesses. Since then, I decided to expand from doing just StGeorge4Kids.com and into other areas as well. Like LasVegas4Kids. I also have plans to expand the 4Kids Network up into Utah Valley (Provo/Orem), Salt Lake City, and many other cities.

Sure, there are alot of sites catering to tourists and visitors, but what about local stuff for Kids and Families living here??

For as long as I've been doing this website, since late 2007, I've had comments on the penguin. Why a penguin? There's no penguins in St. George! Well, that's my point. But what always made me smile, was that it stuck in people's minds. Whether they agreed with my using a penguin or not, I had already started the brand recognition. Well, in February of this year, I was part of the Expo at the Washington City Community Center, where I put out a challenge to give my penguin a name.  Names ranged from the average "Bob" and "Chuck" to weird "Paco" and "Quackers".  My kids and I narrowed it down to 2, and I finally decided on a name which really captured the penguin's character. It was the daughter of the owners of HotZing.com that spent quite a bit of thinking and gave him the perfect name. And so, now he's known as Shivers. Shivers, the penguin.
