Kelly Mitchell - Principal

Mr. Mitchell has been the principal since 2006 when he took Dale Porter's place.  Mr. Mitchell taught elementary school for 23 years at Santa Clara Elementary and one year at Lava Ridge Intermediate before becoming the principal at DVES.  He is orginally from St. George and graduated from Dixie High School (the only high school in St. George at the time), received an Associates Degree from Dixie College (as it was known back then),  his Bachelor's Degree from BYU, and received his Master's Degree from Utah State University.
